Svitlana Bobrovnyk

Svitlana is a qualified English teacher and graduated with a masters degree in English teaching from Kyiv State Linguistic University in 1996. She also studied English at the British Study Centres School of English in London in 2020. She taught English at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”. Svitlana is from Ukraine and has been teaching English for Ukrainian speakers at Studieskolen since 2022.

Svitlana recommends:
Food and drink: Ukrainian cuisine such as borsh and varenyky. Viennese Cappuccino is also a treat!
Learning tips: Use structured learning resources, e.g. grammar books and workbooks.  To improve fluency, try to think in the target language as much as possible by describing your daily routine in your head or try journaling in the target language. When learning a foreign language, don't be afraid of making mistakes. We learn from our mistakes!
